For the Cesano Company mushroom means cepes mushroom and since years the best quality is provided by Scherini, one of the best distributors of mushroom from Valtellina, a traditional company placed in a valley in the heart of the Italian Central Alps, rich of forests of conifers where during the summer season the harvests of cepes mushroom is abundant.
These climatic conditions support Scherini's work, started 40 years ago, of selecting, preparing and distribute the cepes mushroom after they are dried, frozen or preserved in extra virgin olive oil.
